Hockey is a sport that can be adapted for many different ability levels. Flyerz Hockey is the name widely associated with grassroots disability inclusive hockey. These sessions are friendly and inclusive, welcoming disabled and non-disabled people of all ages and abilities as well as their families, friends and carers.

The sessions and equipment are adapted to ensure inclusivity of any disability and long-term health condition. Flyerz hockey sessions are player centred and concentrate on having fun, learning new skills, making friends and promote the foundations of living an active and healthy lifestyle.

Working together with Access Sport and Scottish Disability Sport, we are committed to building an inclusive environment for individuals with a disability to feel comfortable playing hockey, ensuring that we are adapting the game to meet individual needs, to provide a quality experience.

Where and When

You or someone you know or care for, can join these friendly sessions at Lasswade High School hockey pitch (EH19 2LA) on Wednesdays from 7:30 – 8:30pm.
