Super Sunday saw the ladies progress to the semi final of the district plate competition. In a game where both sides were fairly evenly matched Stirling Wanderers struck first with a well taken goal leaving Louise with no chance as the ball was powerfully stuck across her goal and in at her back post. With less than 15 minutes to go Shona broke through from midfield beating a couple of the Stirling defenders before passing to Beth who swept the ball into the net for the equaliser.

Both teams went for the win with Stirling narrowly missing with the last strike of the game in regulation time.

The dreaded penalty flicks were to follow. Both teams were even after the first 5 and sudden death ensued.

After eight penalties each Stirling's effort was superbly saved by Louise and Shona coolly slotted away the final penalty to see the Ladies progress into the next round.
