Training / Games

Following the announcement by the First Minister on Tuesday 17 November, Midlothian will move into tier 2 with effect from Tuesday 24 November, Edinburgh remains in tier 3.

What does this mean for the club?

Tier 2 means training can be as near normal as possible, with everyone adhering to social distancing when not participating in an exercise, and leagues games can resume against other teams within a tier 2 administration.

As we have members who live within the City of Edinburgh, we sought clarification on whether these members could still attend training/play in matches. The advice received confirmed that members could still attend training, but sessions would still need to follow tier 3 guidelines.

To enable us to move forward the committee has decided to deal with this situation on a team by team basis, which will constantly be reviewed and adjusted in line with any announcements from the Scottish Government.

Captains will be in touch with players shortly to confirm what is happening in terms of availability for games and training arrangements for each team.

Saturday 21 November.

There will still be training on Saturday for both development and senior teams, please feel free to come along.

Registration as normal via Pitchero.
